It’s not just the wool. It’s about the supply chain and all the steps in the process from getting it off the sheep’s back and onto ours.
The superfine merino yarn is grown by Bellevue Park Wool in the Snowy Mountains by the Fletcher family. Jim often hand delivers yarn to my house! Wool is cleaned and spun in New Zealand and then hand dyed by me in small batches using the best quality Australian professional wool dyes. Labels are made from 100% post consumer waste brown paper. The logo you see is from a block print designed and carved by me.
As a conscious consumer myself, I will actively encourage you to take time to consider your purchase and your project needs. I go the extra distance to support you post-purchase to ensure you can turn your ball of wool into something special. I am happy to partner with small yarn stores, designers and creatives.
